Overnight crimes

Theft from Motor Vehicle x2 reported in Hillview Avenue

On Friday 19th December, sometime between 1730 – 1830 hours, suspect unknown has gained entry into a Kia 4x4 without causing any damage to the motor vehicle. Suspect has stolen, cash, sunglasses and a Black Tommy Hilfiger coat and made off, without being seen or heard. Victim told me that a bunch of coats has been found laying on the ground, further down the road on Saturday morning. One of the coats is on the wall outside his house and showed me.

Whilst I was conducting door to door enquiries, a resident said that on Friday 19th December at about midnight. He looked out of his front window and noticed his car boot was open. Suspect had opened the vehicle without causing any damage and may know how to do this on certain models. Suspect has stolen petty cash and a bunch of coats from the boot and walked off down the road. This is before suspect entered and stole from the vehicle above. This crime will be reported online today.  

We walked down the road together and the coat outside his neighbour’s house is his and then we reached no68, there was a row of about 6 coats and one glove, kindly been put on a boundary wall. These all belong to him and the suspect left the other glove in the boot. 

Occupants at 68 found the coats and discovered cctv of an unknown male throwing the coats onto the ground (between two parked cars) and searching through the pockets on Friday 19th December at about 1800 hours. 

There has been NO further overnight crimes of Burglary or Robbery reported on the ward.
